Description

Make the marinade by crushing half of the garlic (four cloves) into a bowl.

  1. Add the juice of 1 lime, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Slice the remaining garlic thinly and cut the bell pepper into large, bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat a splash of olive oil in a pan and gently sauté the garlic slices and bell pepper pieces until they start to color lightly.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the marinade and thread alternately with bell pepper pieces onto the skewers. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  5. Grill the skewers on a hot barbecue, grill pan, or in a frying pan for 2-3 minutes per side until the shrimp are perfectly cooked.
  6. Serve warm, optionally with the remaining marinade as a sauce. Delicious with a fresh salad or lemon rice.

Enjoy your meal!
