Tapas Shrimp with Garlic and Red Pepper

These tapas shrimp are easy to make and packed with flavor. The combination of garlic, red pepper, and a hint of cayenne provides a spicy yet balanced bite. Serve them in small dishes. Perfect for drinks, tapas evenings, or as a preview of the rest of the dinner.
Ingredients
(for 4 dishes)
400 grams of tropical shrimp
4 cloves of garlic
1 red chili pepper
3 to 4 tablespoons of olive oil
Cayenne pepper to taste
Pepper and salt
Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Description
- Slice the garlic into thin slices.
- Remove the seeds from the red pepper (for less heat) and cut into fine rings.
- Place the shrimp in a large bowl.
- Add the garlic slices, chili pepper, and olive oil.
- Season with a pinch of cayenne pepper, pepper, and salt.
- Mix everything well to distribute the flavors evenly.
- Divide the marinated shrimp among four (tapas) dishes.
- Garnish generously with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately or let stand for a while to allow the flavors to develop. It’s also delicious to warm the dishes in the oven or on the barbecue for a warm version.
